I wouldn’t do this in a main room, but I think it would be cute for a kid’s room. This photo is from a blog, but Etsy is a great spot for wall decals.
Love this idea! Perfect for father’s day cards, no? I just made 4 fun ties in PS, and I’ve already made a card for my father-in-law. Just need to add the buttons. Do you think Eric would notice if I just stole a couple from one of his dress shirts?
(Good for missionariers too…Just add a name tag)
I decided to do the calendar - as my first little project for our new house (specifically, for my office). My only complaint was that the dimenions and res. were a little off, but that’s what I get for printing through Wal-Mart I guess. I ordered a 20 x 30” poster print for about $17. Then I bought my 20 x 20” frame at Hobby Lobby. Unfortunately, no IKEAs in Idaho, but this frame was about the same price as the RIBBA shadow box so I won’t complain.
If I could do it again, I would probably reduce the size of the images so there’s more white space, like the one below. Although, the big pix are fun too.
Each calendar template is 4”x6” for easy printing. Found here at Oscraps.
More details on the framed calendar here.

And for all ages! This would be perfect for the cute little sunbeam who sits in front of me every Sunday fighting to remove his annoying clip-on tie.

Sorry, but that’s the kick I’m on now so I may have a post or 2 with interior design ideas…
I’m a nerd. I’m designing my living room with a little help from Photoshop. The 2nd photo is our existing microfiber furniture set which we’re planning to replace with the (ivory) florence leather. Our sofa set now really isn’t that bad, but this new set really is gorgeous (even moreso in person). Plus, I feel like this new set will open me up to a whole new world of potential design schemes. I’m no longer confined to the neutral color palette, and I’m so excited to swap out pillows, throws & entertainment center accents whenever I feel like it. Oranges and/or greens for the fall. Reds or blues for the winter. Fun bright colors for the spring and summer. Am I strange for thinking this way?
P.S. You’ll notice that the entertainment center is different in the “furnished” photos. I just photoshopped the left-side shelves out of the picture, but we actually really did have those shelves removed - So Eric could have a bigger TV. Of course. I wasn’t happy about it at first, but it actually looks fine with the revision.
I’m also thinking about installing plantation blinds. White? Maybe curtains?
